Chipping Norton Lake is one of the most picturesque lakes I’ve known in New South Wales and is only 27 kilometres south-west of the Sydney central business district.
There are some parks at the southern bank of the lake and are provided with amenities like BBQs, picnic shelters, toilets and playgrounds.
Both the north and southern banks are great spots for recreational fishing, too. In fact, we met a couple who were fishing at the Grand Fleneur when we visited the place the second time, had caught around ten fishes in a matter of three hours.
The suburb is considered to be one of the most affluent suburbs in south western Sydney.
Here are some photos I took from the many parks at the south bank.
